Statement Of Purpose
Thrive living will support young people in their transition to independent living. With over 35 years of experience, our aim is to provide a safe, supportive and nurturing living environment for young people aged 16-21 years formally accommodated by a Local Authority in accordance with Section 20 or Section 31 (Care Order) of the Children Act 1989.

We believe everyone deserves a home. We aim to empower, strengthen and build young people’s practical, social and emotional skills in preparation for their independence. This will be carried out and supported by a framework of one to one and group work opportunities. An experienced dedicated team member will be working with the young people at Thrive Living 24/7, who are passionate to enable and empower young people with complex, social, emotional and behavioral needs with positive outcomes.

Our experience and infrastructure allows us to manage the most challenging situations whilst adhering to safeguarding and regulations. We utilize the tools available with local agencies to tailor our support. We are committed and passionate about ensuring all our young people are engaging in education or training. We work closely with a range of private education providers and understand the impact this has on their future.

We encourage young people to participate in their plan towards independence. We are committed to providing equality and diversity. Thrive Living is a home, not just accommodation which is evident in our ethos. We encourage our young people to participate in our learning activities and ensure weekends are a time to reflect, enjoy and relax.
